I am Hemant Malokar, holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics from De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Robotics and Automation at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis Centre for Applied AI (SCAAI), and is part of the Symbiosis International University, Pune, India.
Current Topic - AI / Reinforcement Learning
Brief description - With a strong foundation in mechatronics and hands-on experience in AI, machine vision, and automation, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to modern engineering challenges. My academic projects—including number plate recognition using MATLAB, predictive modeling with brain.js and TensorFlow.js, and IoT-based reactive web systems—demonstrate a robust integration of hardware and software technologies. Professionally, I am applied data analytics and automation in business environments, showcasing my ability to innovate and optimize complex systems. My research interests lie in leveraging domain adaptation, deep learning, and intelligent automation to create scalable, real-world solutions. My aim is to explore domain adaptation in deep networks, particularly focusing on enhancing model generalization across diverse industrial and robotic applications.
Symbiosis Centre For Research and Innovation (SCRI), established in 2009, is the dedicated department of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for promoting and facilitating research among students and faculty. Through its academic and administrative services, SCRI enables researchers to achieve excellence in their work, and eventually, translates SIU's vision of creation of knowledge for the benefit of the Society into reality.
