India International Science Festival (IISF) launched in 2015 is a celebration to promote Science and Technology and demonstrate how science could lead India towards a developed nation within a short span of time. The aim is to engage the public with science and celebrate the joy of science and show the ways how science and technology provide us with the solutions to improve our lives. Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Earth Sciences in association with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), has created a unique platform of India International Science Festival which intends to inspire curiosity and make learning more rewarding. This year IISF was organized online during 22nd – 25th December, 2020. The main organizer of IISF 2020 is CSIR-NISTADS, New Delhi. Various events are being organized as part of this festival. One of the events was Science Village, a Mega Students Camp 2020 under IISF 2020. The prime goal of Science Village is to give exposure to the school students from rural parts of the country and make them aware of India’s achievements in frontier area of Science & Technology. Around 5000 students and 500 teachers from all over the country are expected to participate in the event. One of the activities under Science Village is ‘Interaction with Science Teacher and Motivational Talk’ to impart the knowledge among students. The Science Village was organized online during 22nd to 25th December 2020.
Symbiosis Centre For Research and Innovation (SCRI), established in 2009, is the dedicated department of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for promoting and facilitating research among students and faculty. Through its academic and administrative services, SCRI enables researchers to achieve excellence in their work, and eventually, translates SIU's vision of creation of knowledge for the benefit of the Society into reality.
